We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Residential Care Supervisor to join our welcoming residential care facility located in Port Charlotte, FL. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety
  • Supervise, train, and support care staff to deliver compassionate and effective services
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members, residents, and families to promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment
  • Monitor resident well‑being, address concerns promptly, and implement care plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
  • A current LPN/Nurse license is required
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory and/or training experience in a community or long-term healthcare setting
  • Previous supervisory experience in geriatric care is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality care
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and compliance standards
