* + Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.

+ Conduct routine and high-quality assessments, examinations, and preventive screenings.

+ Manage low-risk pregnancies and perform vaginal deliveries within scope of practice.

+ Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.

+ Educate patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, family planning, and preventive health.

+ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient care.

+ Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.

+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety standards.

+ Promote wellness and disease prevention through evidence-based care and patient education.

** Knowledge and

Skills Required:

*
* + Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.

+ Knowledge of evidence-based midwifery practices, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.

+ Understanding of preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women's wellness services.

+ Understanding of quality improvement principles and population health initiatives.

+ Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.

+ Ability to manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.

+ Excellent communication and patient education skills with diverse patient populations.

+ Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

+ Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.

+ Proficient in documentation, care coordination, and healthcare technology.

** Certifications and Licensure

Required:

*
* + Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

+ Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).

+ Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license

+ DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

+ Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
