Facilities Service Manager

The Facilities Service Manager performs skilled maintenance and repairs to club facilities and equipment in trade areas such as fitness club equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and carpentry. They also manage a team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring all Easy Mile Fitness locations within the region operate at 100% capacity by coordinating and overseeing all facilities and maintenance issues.

• Keep all Easy Mile Fitness locations within the region operating at 100% capacity by coordinating and overseeing all facilities and maintenance issues.
• Manage up to 4 gyms.
• Manage up to 4 Facilities Technicians.
• Manage ordering, tracking, and maintenance of parts and supplies.
• Manage trade partner relationships.
• Oversee routine and preventative repairs, inspections and maintenance in skilled trades including fitness equipment, tanning beds, hydromassage beds (including electronic tracking), building automation systems, card access systems, electrical devices, water leaks, plumbing fixture installation, appliance repair, drywall repair, painting and other repair & maintenance tasks associated with operating a commercial property.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and safe condition.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
• Support on‑call or emergency response situations.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned.

• Demonstrates drive and initiative to anticipate, identify, solve, and follow through on problems and the ability to act independently to achieve results with high accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and works successfully in a team environment, building and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse group of internal and external contributors.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Possesses ability to interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and other documents and safely operate all company equipment; self‑starter, highly organized, flexible, and able to adjust to constant change.
• Capability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Superior customer service and communication skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines regarding chemicals, ladders, power tools, etc.
• +7 years building maintenance experience.
• +3 years management experience.
• Competency with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
