What you’ll do:The Project Coordinator is responsible for driving execution discipline, prioritisation, and visibility across a high volume of concurrent small- to medium-sized projects within the Wireless product portfolio. This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple parallel initiatives (typically 6-10 active projects at any time) across NPI, sustaining engineering, application development, Sales and operations. The coordinator partners closely with the Wireless leadership team to prioritise work, ensure alignment, and drive execution against business-critical objectives.
The role serves as the central coordination point across engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams—ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, risks are proactively managed, and resources are focused on the highest-impact initiatives. Eaton’s Wireless product line operates within the industrial wireless control systems market, serving the off-highway mobile equipment industry (construction, utility, and industrial machinery). Manufacturing is characterised by high-mix, low-volume industrial electronics production, with strong customization requirements and tight integration between engineering and operations.
Essential functions:
- Multi-Project Coordination:
Coordinate execution across multiple concurrent projects (small to medium in size), often with overlapping timelines and shared resources. Manage interdependencies across projects to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth execution. Track progress across all active initiatives, ensuring consistent forward momentum across the portfolio—not just individual projects. Drive accountability across cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain). Organise and support project and leadership reviews, ensuring effective tracking across multiple work streams.
Capture actions and ensure follow-through across numerous parallel initiatives. - Project Prioritisation:
Partner with the Wireless leadership team to define, align, and continuously adjust priorities across a high volume of concurrent projects. Manage prioritisation across multiple short-cycle (2-8 week), small-to-medium-scale projects running in parallel. Establish and maintain a single source of truth for prioritisation, sequencing, and resource alignment. Maintain a comprehensive project tracker covering all active projects, priorities, milestones, and dependencies. Provide leadership with clear, concise visibility into the status of all concurrent projects, not just major programmes.
Highlight capacity constraints, competing priorities, and execution risks across the portfolio. - Risk and Mitigation Management:
Proactively identify and track risks, roadblocks, and execution gaps across multiple simultaneous projects. Communicate issues in a structured way, ensuring leadership has visibility into portfolio-level risks—not just project-level issues. Work cross-functionally to define and drive mitigation strategies. Escalate critical risks with clear impact and recommended actions. - Cross-Functional Alignment:
Act as the central integration point across Engineering, Sales and Operations…
