Fund Development Specialist

Position: Full-Time Fund Development Specialist
Drive meaningful fundraising efforts with PLEA Community Services as a Fund Development Specialist. Work from Vancouver or Port Coquitlam, focusing on donor cultivation and resource development.

As a Fund Development Specialist, you'll create and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies that enable PLEA to deliver critical community services. You will engage with donors, prepare impactful fundraising materials, and track program metrics to demonstrate PLEA's success.

Your role is crucial in securing funding and fostering relationships in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic fundraising plans and communications

• Identify and solicit potential donors at various levels

• Conduct presentations to promote PLEA's mission

• Draft appeal letters and stewardship reports

• Ensure compliance with fundraising policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

• Two years of professional fundraising experience

• Strong writing and presentation skills

• Knowledge of donor cultivation and stewardship

• Experience in non-profit environments preferred
