Journeyman Roofer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive high-quality workmanship and durable roofing solutions.

• Install roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform repairs on existing roofs, including caulking and sealing to prevent leaks
• Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
• Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Assist in heavy lifting of materials as needed during installation or repair processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects

• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding building specifications
• Experience in maintenance person tasks or carpentry is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
