· Our client is seeking an Purchasing Clerk to join the Deal Party, Port Elizabeth team,
· Capture and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timeously
· Obtain and compare supplier quotations as required
· Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, stock availability, and delivery timelines
· Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve delivery discrepancies
· Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
· Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records
· Assist with stock level monitoring and inventory coordination
· Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant legislation (e.g., BBBEE supplier requirements where applicable)
· Support the procurement team with general administrative duties
· Maintain proper filing and document control (electronic and manual systems)
Requirements· Grade 12
· 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing,
· Knowledge of procurement processes
· Proficient in MS Office,
· SAP experience preferred,
· Order allocation experience
