Position Overview:

Is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our Port Elizabeth branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in road freight and logistics, demonstrating leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management
:

Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of
Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, personnel, and
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure and accident-free work

2. Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of logistics
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team

3. Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new clients.
Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective

4. Financial Management:

Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost- saving opportunities.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and invoicing

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety

Qualifications and Skills:

Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an
Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong leadership and decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal
Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best
Proficient in Microsoft Office
