Our client, in the construction industry is seeking a Quarry Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the extraction, production, and overall operations of a quarry site.

• Ensuring efficient extraction of materials while maintaining productivity and cost control
• Enforcing health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect workers and the surrounding environment.
• Managing and coordinating quarry staff, including operators, engineers, and administrative personnel.
• Overseeing the maintenance and operation of machinery and ensuring proper functionality.
• Scheduling and optimizing production to meet business and customer demands.
• Managing financial aspects, including budgets, expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensuring materials extracted meet required standards and specifications.
• Liaising with government agencies and ensuring adherence to legal and environmental regulations.
• Working with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth business operations.

• Matric (Advantageous)
• Tertiary Qualification (Advantageous)
• 3-5 years of experience in quarry operations
• Experience in excavation and material processing.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience in a similar setting.
