Join this dynamic team of retailers.

Work closely with the branch managers and supplier partners to source and procure an assortment of liquor.

This role will involve analysing sales trends, negotiating with supplier partners, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations whilst maximizing profitability & customer satisfaction.

• Achieve budgeted sales & profit targets.
• Generate & analyse category reports.
• Track weekly, monthly & quarterly performance
• Track promotion performance.
• Meeting with suppliers to negotiate costs.
• Co-ordinate the supplier claims process for Trading terms.
• Keeping accurate record of transactions.
• Making sure suppliers’ invoices are paid.
• Co-ordinate the new product listing process.
• Oversee planograms & shelf placement to maximise visibility in the stores.

• Matric.
• Effective communication skills – preferably bilingual in both English and Afrikaans.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the liquor industry, with knowledge of liquor trends, regulations, consumer behavior.
• Sound knowledge of FMCG Marketing with an ability to lead & collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications

• Strong numeric skills and sound financial acumen.
• Ability to build strategic working relationships and be customer focused.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proven and acknowledged team player.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, to interface effectively with all levels of colleagues and with external customers in a team orientated manner.
• Having reliable transport with a valid driver’s license is essential.
