• Conduct marine ecosystem assessments and biodiversity monitoring
• Develop sustainable resource management plans for coastal regions
• Collaborate with local communities and government agencies on conservation projects
• Analyze environmental data to inform policy recommendations
• Lead field research and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams

• Expertise in marine ecology and environmental impact assessment
• Proficiency in GIS mapping and data analysis software
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Knowledge of South African environmental regulations
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marine conservation, environmental consulting, or resource management. Experience with coastal ecosystem projects is advantageous.

45,000 – 55,000 SSP/month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
