HVAC Air Conditioning Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Air Conditioning Technician to join the Perseverance team,

· Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats

· Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using specialized tools and testing equipment

· Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations

· Recharge refrigerants and ensure proper handling according to environmental standards

· Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

· Replace or repair defective components (motors, compressors, fans, thermostats, etc.)

· Calibrate systems for maximum efficiency and comfort

· Keep accurate maintenance records and service reports

· Communicate with clients or site personnel to explain work done and offer maintenance advice

· Comply with all local HVAC codes, safety standards, and company procedures

· Grade 12

· Trade Tested Refrigeration Mechanic / Electrician

· Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Technician in HVAC/Refrigeration.

· Valid Safe Handling of Refrigerants Certificate (advantageous).

· Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and control systems.

· Valid drivers license

· Candidate must reside in PE / Uitenhage area
