Field Technician

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Technician to join their team in Port Elizabeth . This role is centered around providing essential on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for a range of technical equipment used by our diverse clientele. You will be the face of our company at customer locations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective service delivery and technical problem-solving.

• Install, set up, and commission new equipment and systems at client sites.
• Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose and rectify faults and malfunctions in installed equipment.
• Respond to service calls and provide prompt, effective on-site support.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used and time spent.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates and basic operational advice.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company quality standards.

• Previous experience in a field service, installation, or maintenance technician role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable with regular travel within the Port Elizabeth area.
