Technical Installation & Maintenance Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Installation & Maintenance Specialist to join their dedicated team in Port Elizabeth . This role focuses on providing essential on-site services, including the installation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of various technical systems and equipment. You will be the primary point of contact for clients requiring hands‑on support, ensuring their systems operate at peak performance.

• Install, configure, and commission new equipment and systems at client sites.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults and malfunctions promptly and effectively.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to clients on system usage and basic maintenance.
• Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and inventory of parts used during site visits.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company standards during all on-site operations.

• Demonstrated experience in a technical installation and maintenance role, with a strong background in troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to the installation and maintenance field.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to understand complex technical manuals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for effective client interaction.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) area.
