Environmental Technologist

Join CNL in Port Hope as an Environmental Technologist, conducting fieldwork and monitoring programs in diverse outdoor conditions. Your expertise in environmental science will be put to vital use every day.

In this role, you will engage in comprehensive environmental monitoring and sample collection. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in environmental sciences, along with 1 to 3 years of relevant field experience. You will maintain accurate records while managing environmental resources and assist in analyzing datasets for stakeholder reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field measurements with advanced instrumentation

• Carry out various environmental monitoring activities

• Maintain detailed records and complete paperwork

• Manage resources, including tools and consumables

• Analyze environmental datasets for periodic reporting

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in environmental, biology, or sciences

• 1-3 years of environmental fieldwork experience

• Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s license

• Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance

• Ability to work effectively with team members
