JSL is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer II to support the Command-Wide Engineering Support Services (CESS) Program, with the goal of providing quality systems engineering and technical expertise to aggressively improve Warfighter readiness, as well as to improve and modernize the delivery, quality, and cost of products and services. Port Hueneme Division (PHD) of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) is responsible for Combat Systems;
Test & Evaluation;
Digital Engineering;
Sensors, Weapons & Launchers;
Modernization & Installation;
Aegis;
Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Cooperative Engagement Capability;
Fire Control System (FCS) MK 92;
Fire Control System MK 99;
Guided Missile Launching System;
Vertical Launch Systems;
Ship Self Defense System (SSDS);
Tomahawk Weapon Control Systems/Suites;
Guns Weapons Systems; and DDG 1000.
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Experience reading, interpreting and developing Engineering Drawings/Blueprints and schematics
- Ability to write reports and review/develop technical documentation such as technical manuals as well as
