Computer Engineer

The Computer Engineer will use Agile Scrum processes to facilitate In-Service-Engineering teams executing hardware engineering, software development, and installation execution tasks. You will facilitate daily scrum meetings, assist in creating and organizing backlogs to ensure planned tasks are executed and completed on schedule. You will coordinate the sprint backlog scrub, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective meetings to ensure teams focus on the priority tasks to be accomplished during the sprint.

Additionally, the Computer Engineer shall document Agile Scrum business rules to be implemented across multiple scrum teams and facilitate the incorporation of lessons learned to ensure teams can complete more tasking efficiently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
• Experience with Agile Scrum

• Experience supporting Navy programs
• Familiarity with Navy combat systems and lifecycle support
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
