CWP Immunizing Nurse - Vaccination Initiative

Location:

Port Hueneme, CA

Administer vaccines such as flu, COVID, MMR, and others to patients in a community healthcare setting. Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, colleagues, and caregivers. Motivate and support team members by assigning tasks that leverage their strengths and address development needs. Adapt to changes and modify plans as necessary to ensure successful vaccination efforts. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to a positive team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Apply clinical skills including medication administration and maintaining BLS certification. Ensure all candidate questionnaires are completed for each submission.

Shift hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Remote work:
Onsite as needed.

Environment:
Community healthcare setting with PPE provided.

Compliance:
Verify all licensing and immunization credentials.

Full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the state of California. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification. At least one year of relevant nursing experience, including immunizations and patient care.
