The NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC) is seeking a Senior Developer / Dev Ops Engineer to join our team! We are looking for a versatile, senior-level professional with 7+ years of experience to help us drive cloud-migration strategies and elevate our Dev Sec Ops maturity.
Our ideal candidate is a proactive technical leader who bridges the gap between traditional application development and modern cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will help us modernize legacy applications and mentor cross-functional software development teams.
What We Are Looking For- The "Shift-Left" Mindset: A strong passion for integrating automated security testing (SAST/DAST) early in the software development lifecycle.

Experience:
A proven background deploying, hardening, and managing enterprise cloud workloads. - Technical Leadership:
An experienced engineer ready to set architectural standards, mentor team members, and act as a technical force multiplier.
Our team heavily utilizes Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure, and Git Lab CI. If you have deep coding expertise paired with broad, hands-on experience in Dev Sec Ops and container orchestration, you will thrive in this environment.
