Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary

Moran Iron Works is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Clerk to support daily office operations across multiple departments. This role is ideal for someone with strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of accuracy when working with data and documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper records
  • Create, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Word
  • Enter, update, and manage spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Quality Department, Administration Team, Project Management, and other departments as needed
  • Assist with document control, reporting, and recordkeeping related to quality and project documentation
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally and route inquiries as needed
  • Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Support special projects and general office tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Previous administrative or data entry experience preferred
  • Part-time position (hours to be determined)
  • Office-based role with work on the shop floor as needed
  • Must be able to work safely in an industrial/manufacturing environment when in shop areas
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing data entry and administrative tasks
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the office and shop areas as required
  • Ability to perform light physical activity associated with filing, organizing, and document handling
