Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of an Art Director/Graphic Designer for a 12 months, on-site, contract role. The job details are below:
Role OverviewWe are seeking a confident, experienced, and hands‑on Art Director/Graphic Designer for a one-year contract role focused on graphic design and art direction with the ability to do some motion graphics and editing. The ideal candidate is a versatile creator who can do both design and direct concepting ideas, designing and producing motion graphics as needed. They will collaborate closely with the cross‑functional team to ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, project goals, and work within the varying timelines.
A strong portfolio in graphic design and art direction along with clear communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with focus in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or similar field of study
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in graphic design and art direction, or similar field
- A strong portfolio of professional content, with individual contributions clearly attributed per project.
- Demonstrated experience working with holistic campaigns from concept to execution
- Strong experience in digital mediums and channels, content trends and best practices, social campaigns, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of applied principles of graphic design, including color, composition and typography.
- Ability to solve complex problems as they relate to visual design.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite. Must have expert knowledge in:
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Power Point - Experience in animation software:
Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere
