McLaren Port Huron, in partnership with Oakland Macomb Surgical Group is recruiting a General Surgeon in Port Huron, Michigan.

• Recruiting 1 General Surgeon for an established Private Practice opportunity.
• Join 6 experienced General Surgeons.
• Bread and butter opportunity – broad spectrum of cases.
• New candidate should be trained on robotic and laparoscopic cases and should be comfortable with upper endoscopy and colonoscopies.
• Schedule:
  
  1 day/week in clinic, 1-2 days in the OR, remaining days inpatient rounding and call coverage.
• Shared Call: 5-7 days/month
• Average of 30-40 patients/day in the clinic (post op and new patients)
• Clinic locations in Port Huron and Metro-Detroit.
• Clinic staff will include surgical residents and MA’s. APP rounds on patients in the hospital.
• Cerner EMR in the hospital. Transitioning to Epic in the clinic.
