The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences seeks qualified candidates to teach courses in both introductory Cultural Anthropology and Physical Anthropology, plus other Anthropology courses in keeping with instructor qualifications and department demand. Courses are to be taught in person on Ferris State University’s Big Rapids Campus and/or online. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment.
The anticipated start date for this position is August 2025.
Required:
Master’s degree in Anthropology. Higher education teaching experience. Prior teaching experience. Evidence of the potential for effective and innovative instructional practices.
