Engineering Manager

We are partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Port Huron, MI area who is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and develop its engineering team while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field (Required)
• 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, including experience leading projects, teams, or engineering initiatives (Required)
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams while driving accountability and performance
• Experience managing new product launches, engineering projects, and cross functional initiatives
• Strong background in process improvement, root cause problem solving, and operational excellence
• Ability to work closely with manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to improve quality, productivity, and capacity
• Experience implementing systems, processes, and workflows that improve engineering execution and project delivery
• Comfortable making decisions in a fast paced manufacturing environment and balancing technical and business priorities
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical talent
• Experience with automotive, engineered products, or other highly technical manufacturing environments preferred
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, GD&T, or similar engineering and product launch methodologies preferred
