Kidvento is a rapidly growing education technology company dedicated to transforming the way children learn. We are seeking a skilled Head of Finance to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. If you're a finance expert ready to lead and make an impact, this position is for you!

• Manage all monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings, including account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general journal entries, ensuring that reconciliations are performed accurately and on time.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operational needs, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense management, and vendor management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory rules, including implementation of any changes.
• Responsible for annual external audit preparation and oversight. (Must pass annual audit)
• Lead, support, and develop the accounting team and manage talent, including motivating, coaching, training, and mentoring team members.
• Oversee and direct documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Streamline, maintain, and improve processes and internal controls.
• Improve the internal control environment to monitor transaction risk and financial exposure more efficiently.
• Create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve, and document accounting decisions and to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.
• Provide thought leadership on financial implications and risks related to key decisions and issues.
• Manage global budgeting and financial planning functions with the executive team and Board.
• Oversee contract management function with related vendors and customers and partake in effective negotiations and accountability as needed.
• Work with the executive team to develop organizational charts, teams, and culture.
• Prepare quarterly board material—financials and presentation.
• Provide KPIs and financial metrics that can lead to actionable items.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• CA, CMA, or CFA Qualification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the manufacturing or edtech sector.
• Exceptional accounting management and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and indirect taxation.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Plus is a plus.
• Strong leadership and business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Proactive and results‑oriented mindset, with a track record of driving process improvement and delivering on financial objectives.
• High level of integrity and ethics, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
