• Current cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
• Experience solving problems and making smart decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service; executing work efficiently and effectively; inspiring strong performance in yourself and others.
• Ability to provide great customer service; cooperate and build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Proactive in improving the customer experience; confidence and courage to do what is right; energy and urgency.

JCPenney Salon provides flexible scheduling (for Master Designer level and above) and the ability to set your own service pricing (for Senior Designer level and above). Commission on service sales ranges from 50% to 70% based on credential level, sales, and productivity. Additional benefits include artistic paid training, a 10% retail commission with a service, up to $1,000 bonus for qualified candidates, client acquisition programs, and diverse career paths.
