Position: Speech Language Pathologist [81028]

We’re partnering with a school district in Menominee County, Michigan to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a school-based opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development in an educational setting.

Position

Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders impacting students’ academic and functional performance. The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to deliver high-quality, student-centered services aligned with IEP goals.

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: In-person (school-based), Menominee County, MI
  • Hours: Full-time or part-time (based on district needs)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday; specific days/hours are flexible
  • School Year: 2025–2026
Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with IDEA and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications
  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (required).
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or eligibility).
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
