Overview
Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139‑bed community hospital in St. Clair and Sanilac counties offering inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency, stroke, cancer care, surgical, physical therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, and diabetes programs.
Responsibilities- Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements, and functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
