Bridge Tender (DPW / Streets Division)
THE CITY OF PORT HURON IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
Responsibilities- Safe and efficient operation of one of the three drawbridges located in the City of Port Huron (training provided).
- Ability to speak over a public address system when necessary in a professional manner.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to boaters and the general public.
- 8-hour shifts; day, afternoon and midnight shifts. 40 hours per week.
- Maximum six-month assignment.
- Must be able to maintain alertness at all times.
- $17.00 / hour
- Does not include a benefit package.
