Position: General Laborer (all shifts available) Peninsula Powder Coating

Peninsula Powder Coating seeks full-time General Laborers to join their team in Baraga, Michigan
. All shifts available. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required. We will train someone motivated to learn.

WHAT WE OFFER.
  • $14.00 – $16.00 per hour starting pay based on experience.
  • Overtime available on all shifts.
  • Company provides a monthly stipend to put towards health insurance, if needed.

SCHEDULE.

This is full-time, Monday – Friday position with openings on all shifts. Schedules may flex based on company production demands.

  • Day shift: 7am – 3:30pm
  • Afternoon shift: 3:30pm – 12 midnight
  • Night shift: 10:30pm – 7am
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
  • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required. We will train someone motivated to learn who has an excellent work ethic.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be mechanically inclined with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to clean and sort parts, organize, and clean the production floor.
  • Ability to assemble packaging for outbound shipments (crates, pallets, boxes).
  • Ability to work in an environment that has paint and primer fumes, uses cleaning chemicals, and related chemicals used to coat and clean industrial products.
  • Practice safe work practices by lifting properly, wearing protective equipment/clothing (safety glasses, footwear, respirators, hardhats, hearing protection, etc. as needed) and maintain a safe work environment always.
  • Willingness to assist other production areas when needed.
  • You are energetic, reliable, and work well individually and as a team member.
  • You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
