Laboratory Assistant

Shift: 1 st Shift, 7:30 am- 04:00 pm (Monday-Friday)

What is special about this role:

As an onsite laboratory assistant, this role’s primary responsibility is to conduct lab glassware washing, stock lab supplies, dispose of chemical waste, and maintain overall chemical quality control cleanliness. Other responsibilities include login of samples into QA systems and some wet chem testing. Candidate should be detail-oriented, able to identify work needed, and organized to ensure compliance and safety. This role communicates regularly with chemistry lab scientists, so good communication, professionalism, and kindness are a must.

• Glassware, pipette, and lab equipment dishwashing
• Login of Nutrilite Spaulding Plant products into controlled inventory system
• Maintenance of retains
• Stocking glassware and lab supplies
• Remove and dispose of expired reagents
• Stocking kitchenette food and drink supplies
• Lab bench and equipment cleaning
• Weekly check of eye wash and safety showers
• Disposal of product waste
• Physical testing of softgels & tablets including weights, peroxide value, disintegration time, etc.
• Fluoride testing for toothpaste.
