CNC/WIRE EDM Machinist
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. Enjoy a 4 day work week with Monday through Thursday off while still receiving 40 hours of pay.
Job Type: Contract to Hire Opportunity
Pay: $20+ depending on experience
We are currently seeking experienced CNC/WEDM Operators for a highly respected manufacturing facility in the Port Huron area. This company is known for its excellent culture, clean work environment, long term stability, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:- Operate CNC and Wire EDM machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Perform quality checks and inspections on finished parts
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Make machine offsets and adjustments
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support production and quality goals
- Previous CNC machining and/or Wire EDM experience preferred
- Programming experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime as needed
