1st Shift | CNC / Wire EDM Machinist
Great opportunity with a great company and strong culture. We are looking for a dependable Level /2 CNC Machinist with solid hands on machining experience. This position is a good fit for someone with CNC or Wire EDM experience who understands machining fundamentals, can read blueprints, work with precision measuring tools, and produce quality parts.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machines
- Run parts independently
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Make basic offsets and machine adjustments
- Work with tight tolerance parts
- Use micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform quality inspections
- Follow work instructions and production requirements
- Maintain quality and production standards
- CNC Mill or Wire EDM machining experience
- Level 1 Machinist experience
- Machine set up experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Understanding of basic offsets and adjustments
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Good understanding of quality inspections
- Strong work ethic
- Dependable and reliable
- Good stable work history
- Good personality and attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Programming experience is not required
