CNC/WEDM Machinist

Great opportunity to join a great company with a strong culture. We are looking for an experienced CNC / Wire EDM Machinist for our 2nd Shift Weekend schedule. This is a machinist position, not a basic machine operator role. We are looking for someone with hands on machining experience who understands the machining process and can independently set up and run machines.

Schedule

2nd Shift Weekend
Work 3 @12 hour days (FR, SA, SU)
Work the entire 36 hour schedule and get paid for 40 hour
Temp to hire opportunity

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machines
Run machines and parts independently
Read and interpret blueprints
Make basic offsets and machine adjustments
Work with tight tolerance parts
Use micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
Perform quality inspections
Maintain quality and production standards

Qualifications

CNC or Wire EDM machining experience
Machine set up experience
Strong blueprint reading skills
Experience using precision measuring tools
Understanding of offsets and machine adjustments
Experience working with tight tolerances
Understanding of quality inspections
Ability to work independently
Programming experience is not required
Strong work ethic
Dependable and reliable
Good stable work history
Good personality and attitude
