Team Lead RN – Operating Room – 40 Hours/Week – Day Shift – Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Macomb County, MI.

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

Team Lead RN – Operating Room coordinates activities of staff in the operating room and provides oversight for front line staff in collaboration with OR leadership. Acts as liaison between surgeon, operating room staff, and management, and serves as resource for questions related to procedures or surgeon preferences. Coordinates day‑to‑day operational needs by setting priorities, planning for and addressing staffing needs, and coordinating work across other teams as needed.

Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and participates in employment decisions, performance reviews, and may serve in various clinical nursing roles such as direct care nurse or charge nurse.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Two to three (2–3) years of relevant acute care nursing experience.
• A member of the AORN organization preferred.
• Actively participates in the OR Shared Governance Council or Committee.
• Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse.
• ACLS preferred.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS) required.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
