Overview
Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139‑bed community hospital located in St. Clair and Sanilac counties. The facility provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care, stroke care, cancer treatment, surgical services, physical therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, and diabetes programs.
ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, applying patience, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians, educating the public on health and prescribing medications.
Qualifications- MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS upon hire and maintenance of current status.
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records.
