Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night-shift Emergency Room position requiring active MI licensure and 2 years of ER experience.

• Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN ER experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

• Emergency Center unit with 35 treatment rooms
• Uses Medi Tech EMR
• Night shift, 12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Required to work holidays
• Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice, following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care and practice
• Clinical Nurse Specialists provide advanced nursing support to staff
• Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs offered through the nursing education department
• Ongoing staff development through formal and informal programs including BLS, ACLS, wound care, and pain management
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate
