Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate acquires and maintains knowledge of the products represented, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepts consumers to professionally demonstrate products. The Associate maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to adjust the role based on business or client needs.
Responsibilities- Possesses aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Employees may also be expected to perform any other job-related tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: The associate will regularly be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms (including overhead up to 65 inches), talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product;
prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies. - Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
- Physical Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance with proper grooming. Specific retailer dress code requirements are covered in training documents.
