You will be responsible for cultivating and managing advertiser relationships that sustain the Inlet Current’s independent reporting. This position involves outreach, creating tailored proposals, and maintaining advertising campaigns from initiation through completion. Your ability to negotiate and maintain partnerships will directly impact our community's access to vital local news.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential advertisers in the local market

• Prepare and present engaging sales pitches

• Close deals effectively through the sales cycle

• Maintain high renewal rates through relationship management

• Coordinate advertising strategies with the Foundation's goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years in media or local advertising sales

• Proven skills in communication and client relations

• Familiarity with CRM tools and digital advertising

• Local knowledge of Port Moody is beneficial

• Ethical mindset regarding advertising practices
