Our Escrow Clerk delivers exceptional service while assisting members with their escrow lending. They use their knowledge and pro‑active problem‑solving skills to educate members about our products and services. We are looking for a candidate that possesses the following skills: a high school diploma or equivalent, math aptitude, and keyboarding skill. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of related financial or customer service experience, relevant industry experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of escrow practices and terminology preferred
- Capability to work within deadline time frames in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel a plus
- Exhibits analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Maintain a high level of accuracy; attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while displaying initiative
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
- Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to work well in a team environment and support the credit union’s mission and values
JOB SUMMARY:
- Set‑up escrow accounts.
- Develop and maintain escrow loan review process.
- Manage and distribute escrow proceeds as needed.
- Research all real estate files for paid taxes; mail out letter for payment on unpaid taxes.
- Input and process paid out real estate loans with escrow balances as needed.
- Prepare and update annual escrow statements as needed.
- Annual verification of tax payments on all real estate loans with the various municipalities.
- Provides exceptional member service when communicating through phone or email to members regarding updates and information on any changes to their escrow accounts.

Location:Administration (Port Neches)
Hours: Scheduled for 40-hours per week:
Monday through Friday 8:15AM to 5:15PM
