- Adheres to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
- Keeps abreast of trends, developments, and regulatory requirements impacting matters within designated scope of responsibility.
- Administers, oversees, and documents the administration of medications (e.g., topically, orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, and intravenously) as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy.
- Assesses patient to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs.
- Gathers data relevant for patient care.
- Implements appropriate patient interventions and evaluates outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
- Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years or.
- Critical care experience, current within the last 2 years.
- Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire (RQI).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 months of hire.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 12 months of hire.
- Bachelor of Nursing and one year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire.
- Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire.
The Port Orchard Freestanding ED is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the‑art free‑standing emergency room.
Pay Range47.88 - 80.88 /hour
