Responsibilities

• Complete required documentation related to admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan daily services, programs, and activities and ensure each resident’s overall care needs are met.
• Prepare and administer medications and review medication records for completeness and accuracy.
• Review resident care plans to ensure goals, identified problems, interventions, and revisions appropriately reflect nursing needs.
• Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary to provide quality resident care.
• Provide leadership and direction to nursing personnel.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure staff are providing direct care in accordance with residents’ care plans, needs, and wishes.
