This position is for an ATG/IAS/OPS/GVS Automation Technician, Electronics. Working alone or in small teams, this individual will perform installation, testing and maintenance functions supporting Automated Fuel Handling Equipment, Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, and Ground Verification Systems at Department of Defense installations in Manchester, WA. The Technician ensures proper operation of fuels accounting, alarm monitoring and controls, and leak detection equipment.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install electronic components and electrical systems using hand tools and testing instruments, and keeps organized, detailed records of work performed. Responsible for coordinating travel to customer site, maintaining on-hand components and assigned safety equipment, and supplying basic hand tools & testing equipment, as well as thorough communication with dispatchers, your manager, and installation teams to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly conveyed to the customer.

Technician is required to compile and reconcile travel charging on a weekly basis. Individual will need to reside in the surrounding Manchester, Washington area with travel to the Manchester Fuel Depot supporting installation tasks for the Automated Fuel Handling Equipment, Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, or Ground Verification Systems at Department of Defense installations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Ability to acquire and maintain U.S. government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) Ability to acquire and maintain corporate credit card Ability to travel 100% Ability to forecast workload and manage level of effort within scheduled work week Valid state driver's license High school diploma or equivalent and formal electronics training from technical school, Class A or B military school, or completion of four-year electronics apprenticeship program Four years of practical experience to include: electronics repair, integration, fielding, and checkout Ability to acquire all required certifications to maintain the equipment located within specified region at the time of hire or relocation, to include all manufacture trainings and state-required UST certifications Proven proficiency with Windows OS and M365 applications Ability to kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, work from heights of up to 50 feet, and operate safely within confined spaces

Pay Information This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
