Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices, a leader in the tire and automotive repair service field, is pleased to join the Port St. Lucie, FL area. We have multiple openings for experienced automotive mechanics technicians.

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, automotive mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform brake, strut, and shock repairs, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs.

Preferred qualifications:

• State inspection license(s).
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Job demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive movements.
• Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
