We are working with a Jacksonville-based commercial general contractor to find a Superintendent for a project in Port St. Lucie. This is a recognized and growing firm that brings a distinctive approach to commercial work, combining a high standard of craftsmanship with strong commercial execution. The Superintendent will lead field operations on a commercial project in Port St. Lucie and will be the key point of accountability on the ground for schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance.
WhatYou'll Do
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
- Manage subcontractors, field crews, inspections, and material deliveries to keep the project on schedule
- Monitor work in place for quality and conformance with plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, and daily field reports
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Communicate proactively with the Project Manager, owners, and design teams throughout the project
- Manage punch list and closeout activities to ensure a complete and professional project delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times
- 7 or more years of experience as a lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- A strong track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard of quality
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining schedule momentum on active jobsites
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods across multiple trades
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally with owners and design teams
- Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Valid driver's license
- A salary in the $110,000 to $120,000 range based on experience
