Southland Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing vertical, heavy highway, and utility construction services in Florida since 1977. We perform services for both public and private clients with jobs ranging from $200,000 to $100 million.
Responsibilities- Receive all aspects of dirt/earth work and grading, as well as reading plans
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites when needed
- Shooting grades
- Supervise and train crew members
- Coordinate with others including Superintendent, General Superintendent and Engineers
- 3-5 years field experience as a working foreman and running a crew
- Proper use of a laser/grade rod and heavy equipment
- Strong supervisory and communicative skills
