Elementary Teacher

Potential Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating young learners academically, spiritually, and socially within a Christ-centered environment. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive classroom culture, and integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and the school’s Christian values
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
• Integrate biblical teachings and Christian worldview into all subject areas
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Encourage spiritual growth through prayer, scripture, and Christ-centered discussions
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Uphold and model Christian character, ethics, and professionalism at all times

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required)
• Valid teaching certification (preferred, depending on state requirements)
• Experience teaching at the elementary level (preferred)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the school’s mission
