Job Summary

Performs regulatory required environmental inspections for fueling locations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Conducts site evaluations, documents findings, identifies compliance concerns, and supports corrective action efforts related to fueling systems, spill prevention, and environmental safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled environmental inspections at fueling locations and related facilities.
  • Verify compliance with applicable environmental regulations, permits, and company policies.
  • Inspect fueling systems, storage tanks, spill containment equipment, and associated infrastructure.
  • Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions in reports and compliance systems.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to resolve environmental compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor spill prevention and response readiness at fueling facilities.
  • Assist with regulatory audits and agency inspections as needed.
  • Stay current on environmental regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations related to fueling operations and storage systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with inspection documentation systems and standard office software.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple fueling locations.
