The Retail Banker II Float serves as a customer liaison, delivering TD’s brand promise by using financial expertise and consultative advice to help customers reach their personal banking goals across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the subject‑matter expert on all TD products, services, policies, and procedures for both customers and colleagues.
- Make personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight benefits that support customers during life events.
- Use CRM tools to assess customer situations, identify solutions, and lead outbound sales activities.
- Evaluate issues, errors, and problems, applying existing procedures and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, other teams, and internal partners.
- Lead outreach, servicing, and advice activities to deliver a human‑first customer experience.
- Conduct loan product conversations, facilitate application intake, and maintain an active NMLS registration.
- Perform teller transactions (cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, checks) while ensuring fraud mitigation and compliance.
- High school diploma or GED required; 2–year degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience; teller experience preferred.
- Ability to travel the same day to multiple work locations within a designated region.
- Excellent customer service, communication, problem‑solving, and organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of community service opportunities.
- Valid NMLS registration (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) required.
- Notary license preferred.
