Job Summary

Under administrative guidelines, this position provides strategic executive‑level direction for all technology initiatives at the college. This position is responsible for aligning technology services with institutional priorities, ensuring robust cybersecurity and compliance, managing infrastructure and operations, and fostering innovation in academic and administrative technologies. The AVP of Technology serves as a key advisor to senior leadership and represents the college in state and national technology forums.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Strategic IT Leadership & Governance (20%)
  • Define and execute the college’s technology vision and roadmap aligned with institutional mission and strategic priorities.
  • Establish technology governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Lead campus‑wide technology initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.
Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & Compliance (15%)
  • Ensure protection of institutional data and compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, ADA, and other regulations.
